I met John Ratzenberger once (Cliff Clavin). Chatted with him for about 15 minutes. He was quite pleased to know I was from Wales. He told me he cut his comedic teeth many years ago, long before Cheers, doing stand up in the workingmen's clubs of the South Wales valleys.
