BT Sport Pundits Owen Hargreaves and Steve McManaman.

Do they look in the mirror before going on air? :hehe:

Funnily enough it is...

Or as I and many others convince ourselves considering we haven't had a haircut in months

The kids have been sporting mullets for some time now. You see loads of wannabe hipster twentysomethings with mullets in Brooklyn.

Ah of course.
I knew there must be a reason for their doos.

Seriously though, they've been sporting those since they played footie and I suppose it's their perogative being celebs and all.

I wonder if Barry Venison still has his.

Haha, some beauties in there.

Fair play to Hoddle, he's ditched the mullet but still has his trade mark centre parting I see.

Great player, should have had 100 caps.

Not going to lie but I have been considering growing my hair before all this Covid/lockdown started but I got an excuse. Glad I was not the only one who was considering doing the same back then! :hehe:

Centre parting too!? Did Chris Hoddle predict the hairstyles of 2021!?

Do you mean Glenn Waddle?

Edit:
I assume you are referring to Glenn Hoddle's "Mystic Meg"-type fortune teller whose name escapes me, Eileen something?

Yeah, that was an odd period in his career.

:hehe: well at least I knew he was an England footballer... didn’t they both play for Spurs in the 80s or 90s?

They did indeed
Waddle was awkward but talented, Hoddle IMO was different gravy.

The very worst has to be Gerry Francis around the time he played for us. What makes it even worse is that he still has the exactly the same style now and he’s 69 !

Most people haven't been able to get a haircut for over a year. Even DIY hairdressers have difficulty cutting around the back so it's no surprising mullets are seen more often. Before judging whether mullets are the new fashion statement it would be best to wait for hairdressers to resume business.

My son's in Uni, and regularly sends me pictures of him and his mates with their so-called mullets. Not long enough, I say, but they're happy. So yes, they are back, and they don't look any better than they used to.
