Well not really. They will be promoted this afternoon if both Brentford and Swansea fail to win.
Depending on the Brentford and Swansea scores a point could even be enough for Norwich tonight, but a Norwich win will guarantee promotion even if either Brentford or Swansea win this lunchtime.
they've been so good this season, and have some real quality players. it all.went wrong for them in the premier League, but they were never a bad side

The way things are going Sheff Utd could be down by the end of the day.
Needs Newcastle to get a point at home to West Ham (currently Newcastle winning 2-0)
and then Utd lose at Wolves tonight.

Sheffield Utd will be relegated if they lose tonight at Wolves.
Jacks 6 points behind Watford. Both with 4 to play. And they face each other on the last day.
Brentford 8 points behind Watford but with 5 to play and they also have to face Watford.
Brentford still have an eye on 2nd place. We go there on Tuesday

Me too, they have some talented players by Championship standards and play an entertaining brand of football. The manager's done a great job. However, with the exception of the recent 7-0 victory over Huddersfield, they've looked far from outstanding. Decent, consistent, but not brilliant. I think the fact that Norwich have been promoted with five games remaining says more about the standard of the Championship this season than it does about their abilities.

Absolutely. The Championship is genuinely worryingly poor and has been getting worse IMO. When I think back to us playing Villa in 17/18 on a sunny August afternoon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjY9GNwROCA) and the football we played that day - I can't remember a better match since - it's shocking watching the highlights now (and Villa were a cracking side with John Terry playing that day too). Watching Reading last night was just awful. Two teams who shouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs. I really don't know what the answer is.
It's also strange too considering there have been no fans and players haven't been under pressure playing in front of big crowds.
