Anyone still on it?

There was roughly 3.6m people still on furlough at the end of April - A lot more than I expected

I believe it ends in July.
But every time it gets extended it seems to act as guide to how this covid malarky is dragging out phase by phase.

Extended until September a while back.

I thought I read somewhere that from 1 July employers have to start paying 10% of it. Also the moratorium on business rates runs out at the end of this month and they have to start paying a percentage of that too. It could cripple music venues and nightclubs if nothing is done.
There is apparently a £1 billion fund to help businesses that is just sitting there but I have no idea how it works so cannot comment. It probably excludes those who need it most.

There seems to be plenty of money for donors to the tory party

There you go again. What has that got to do with what is being discussed?

I know of a fair few businesses that still have people on furlough, they are mainly stores

I guess in the real world, i would be, i am still missing about £500 of work each week ( I get weekly updates on most of them, I was even invited into a staff meeting for one of my clients ( i do them weekly to the tune of £100 - £150 ) and was told what was happening, the company do not want to bring everyone back as the customers are not spending enough money, speaking to the manager he is looking at letting a few go :-( or just employ them on 0 hour contracts )
