Kaliningrad would be a better location. It's a Russian exclave that is west of Belarus and near the Polish border - and the modern stadium there hosted games in the 2018 World Cup. On the other hand, Kazan is 300 miles from Kazakhstan.

I think my favourite thing about Pontcanna is that it doesn't contain a massive ****ing football stadium TBH.. The SWALEC site would have been lovely but anywhere else madness.
