Worst government ever. Weakest opposition ever.
A perfect storm.

Labour don't just shoot themselves in the foot.

They blow them both off with a double barrelled shotgun

It's all well choreographed to destabilise the Labour party .
Andy McDonald had plenty of time to resign and appears to have his letter (well prepared and timely delivered ) during the conference , along with Angela 's scum remarks , and John McDonnell spouting "Questions have got to be asked about Keir Starmer… the conference is falling apart."

Corbyn banging on in the fringe events defending anyone not agreeing with Sir Kier .

Andy Burnham not given a conference slot !!!t But doing the rounds loudly at the fringe events .

Rosie Duffield happens to feel unsafe from trans folk after saying 'only women have a cervix' so she stayed home ,not the first female MP to feel unsafe at conference.

Looks like an open civil war and usual chaos .

It seems that the Labour Party will be consigned to the backbenches due to the internal division between the two ends of their political spectrum that are irreconcilable.

The Labour leadership and fan club is more interested in purging the membership than fighting the Tories or putting forward an alternative platform for government.

Andy McDonald was the only remaining representative of the left in the Shadow Cabinet and his card was marked.

Starmer and Evans (with a little help from Mandelson) has managed to reduce the membership numbers from 570,000 to 400,000 in just over 18 months. Quite an achievement.

It is certainly an uncivil war - and the Tories are getting the easiest ride possible.

And that is very sad, every government needs a strong opposition to hold it to account thank god for Mark Rashford and social media.

Starmer is hopeless , no charisma or sense of belief

Starmer is hopeless , no charisma or sense of belief

I heard some of his speech today and it had a lot of noble sentiment

But didn't he ramble on

Is sad that charisma take the forefront before substance .

Kier is up against a formidable populist and campaigner and has a tough task ahead of him ,as I dont think the left are done with him yet ,you have Angela Rayner the Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster still stalking him .

He has started on a path of change with a move to the centre ,and very much like Kinnock and Blair he has to keep going at it .

You think Angela Rayner is a representative of the left of the Labour Party and movement?

Why - apart from sharing a flat with Rebecca Long-Bailey?

She has aligned herself with Starmer on all the key decisions so far. She may have personal ambitions to replace him, but she is not positioning herself on the left of the party to do it.

And what substance did you see in Starmer's speech (or his 14,000 word Vision For Labour) that impressed you so much? He skimmed over the big issues, waffled in print and in person, avoided policy ideas or commitments, broke all his leadership election promises, paid homage to Blair and Kinnock (I realise those were big pluses for you) and slapped Johnson with a couple of lame jokes! No charisma and no substance.
