I was looking for the game that had Cardiff in the Fulham end and Eddie came onto the pitch to appeal for calm and if i remember police on horseback?
Searched youtube but found nothing :frown:
Any idea where i can find the footage?
Thanks :xmasayatollah:

I spent that Friday night game in the cells.
Opened my mind to the extent of the lunacy that we had following us.
Not just lads up for a ruck...proper mad heads with fire works and cs gas

The Eddie may game was a Saturday afternoon kick off mate

We did play Fulham a couple of times on a Friday night around that time though , winning by big scores if I remember ?

31 January 1997 1-4 to City at Craven Cottage.
Have the whole game on a VHS video but can't find any digital footage though.

That’s not the one he’s after, as Sludge said, the one he’s after was on a Saturday in August, I believe (about 94/95

I think you are on about the game we won 3-1 when they were all clearing the fence to get at the Fulham. Jimmy Hill was on match of the day that night saying we were animals and was not surprised ninian park was fenced off. Crazy day.

Thats the one.I remember seeing him outside after while i was on the phone to my boy. I called him over to speak to my boy. When he handed me back the phone i told my boy he was speaking to Neil Kinnock to which he replied who the f**k is Neil Kinnock.

Our coach got stopped on a road coming from the ground , loads of people were fighting in the middle of the road , got told later Chelsea fans had turned up because cardiff were playing Fulham, we were stuck in the middle of it , eating our packed lunches and reading our programmes , it was mad
