I usually like David Squires' stuff (though some Premier stuff goes right over my head), but I was a bit concerned to see him branching into politics. I tend to think football should stay well away from politics, and vice versa. But it was The Guardian, so I guess it goes with the territory. Kick 'em while they're down and all that.
