Because he wanted you and others to comment its about being in the news every day , its clever PR stuff as it masks the real issues .

Perhaps he was jogging in a park earlier on , and they picked him up and dropped him at the hotel , he was advised by his doctors his weight and health nearly killed him during Covid ?

Simple, he lied about Brexit, and now he want's to stay in power to deliver the Globalist manifesto, cheered on by Blair, Clegg, Prince Charlie, and all the rest of them.

the noises coming from Tory sources is that he's delaying the cabinet reshuffle until the autumn because he's promised the same jobs to multiple people in order to survive the vote of confidence.
the guys an absolute walking disaster. totally chaotic

I see flashes from cameras in the background (at least I can’t think what else those lights would be), so were the media in on it and were they going to present images of our clown of a PM returning after his “jog” or, if they weren’t, how on earth did Johnson and his staff believe that his deception would not be discovered - the idiot even waves for the cameras :hehe:

You can try to find excuses for him as much as you like but for anyone to get out of a chauffeur driven car in jogging gear and run about ten yards into their house/hotel can only be seen as truly bizarre behaviour.

In the socialist enclave of London guess what ::

London's cocaine market is now worth an estimated £1bn a year after new tests revealed people in the capital are taking an average of 23kg of the Class A drug every day.

More than half a million doses of cocaine, with an estimated street value of £2.75m, are being consumed in London on average each day - twice the amount of any other European city, according to a study seen exclusively by Sky News.

Forensic scientists at King's College London University looked at waste water in the capital and tested for benzoylecgonine (BE), the compound produced when the body breaks down cocaine.

Do you really think that’s a post from someone who is wound up? I barely bother posting on this forum these days - it’s too gloomy since the deadly duo returned from their sabbatical.

I’m sure Johnson’s not the first politician to pull a stunt like that and he won’t be the last, but it’s so typically him.

Perpetrating "the stab in the back myth". That's an insightful line and it's consequences might not bode well for the next leader and indeed the entire Conservative Party

After all, it had disastrous consequences for Germany and the rest of the world after the First World War.

Interesting article. John Harris is one of the more balanced guardian journos.

For me, I think it's a bit OTT in terms of the state of the country and our democracy. Neither are perfect, but the existence of problems, doesn't make the whole thing rotten and is certainly not unique. He's certainly right about the preposterous nature of the House of Lords though. How unelected peers is still a thing is totally beyond me. I also think a form of PR is useful. I fully support what we use in Wales, because you retain the first past the post MP-constituent relationship, but have the additional members to ensure there is representation of all views.
