Reminds me when, as a kid, everyone else in school was wearing the latest Adidas trainers, my mum came back from woolworths with the cheapest brightest red trainers for me.
Safe to say they got 'christened' plenty of times.

Sizzlers were the best, from Primark. Also the cheap daps with the two stripes (Adidas stingy) and the others with the four stripes (Adidas Generous) :hehe:

I had Sizzlers in Junior School while it seemed like everyone had Adidas Kick.
I did get a pair of Nike Bongo in 1985 though and I was over the moon!!

:hehe: My first pair of decent daps were Puma Jopper, bought from Caspajacks in clifton street. They had a job lot! My first football boots were from Olivers, the old man managed to pick up two right footed boots and ****ing refused to take them back :hehe:
