I’ve never laughed so much at someone else’s expense but looking at the news back home regarding him,his fellow MP’s and constituents have a totally different view.
Never say never in politics but I’d wager he loses his seat in the next election.
Still he’s got four hundred grand from the show by all accounts so he’s not to bothered 😕

I would rather be in his company than tw*ts like Chris Moyles and Boy George. Especially that diva George, who has a pathological hatred of anything Tory-related. Probably ingrained in him even prior to the pandemic. It'll really grate on him when he gets voted out before Matt Hancock, as I suspect he will.

Hope he does a trial where all the animals attack him but he'll probably strike lucky and get a calmer chameleon....

Boy George?

Yes agreed, and to think he's trying to look down or cast aspersions on anyone.

Boy George was today sentenced to 15 months in jail for falsely imprisoning a male escort by handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain.

The judge told the 47-year-old former Culture Club frontman, whose real name is George O'Dowd, he had left the escort "shocked, degraded and traumatised" by the ordeal.

O'Dowd was found guilty last month of attacking the Norwegian model Audun Carlsen, 29, after he visited the singer's flat in London in April 2007.

Passing sentence at Snaresbrook crown court, east London, Judge David Radford said the singer's offence was "so serious that only an immediate sentence of imprisonment can be justified".

He played it well to be fair to him, did every task didn't moan cry, or scream once, and made it so boring the public started to vote for the fannies to do the trials.

He's finished in politics and won't last long as a celebrity, people will soon get bored.

I heard that he was a smarmy untrustworthy piece of Tory shit. Doesn't really care about anyone else apart from himself. Well! How wrong i was, since tuning in to this fantastic life changing show, my feelings and thoughts towards Hancock have changed dramatically. He's showing us 'British Spirit' at a time when it's most needed, and in a foreign country, which is a bonus for us post imperialists. I was going to vote for someone else, probably independent, but if Matt keeps us this type of Bulldog British, never say die, British perseverance, then he's got my vote. This is what we need from our politicians, Drakeford would be sat in the corner sucking his thumb and cuddling his Teddy, the big sap.

I still find it unbelievable that you can keep your job as an MP and continue to be paid while pissing off to the Jungle.

He's a strange one Hancock. Seems to have a bit of a messiah complex without having the skills/intelligence to achieve.

I think he will get lucky mind. There is so much ridiculous bile being thrown at him by the loony(and several not so loony) members of the left that it seems to almost be triggering a small backlash of support. He'll probably rake in the dough for years now.

Do agree with the poster questioning boy George's place in there aswell. He's a disgusting sexual predator and kidnapper. For a tv company to pay him to 'entertain' is beneath contempt.

I believe many people watched the programme purely to see Matt Hancock squirm. That's why I watched it and will continue doing so until he's evicted. The disappointment is that Hancock did the trials so well the public got fed up voting for him so others had the pleasure of being housed with rats, snakes and insects.

The reality is that some of the others in there are less likeable than Hancock but in all probability he will be the first to be evicted.

I'll be honest it's because he's on there that I've taken a look this year.

He's clearly on a mission to stay in character because his book is out soon. He's probably not that fussed about being an MP anymore, he's got to the point where he's realised he's not getting the PM job and is going to rake it in until nobody knows who he is anymore.
Maybe deep down he thinks it'll get him back in the news when he doesn't get voted back in, and he'll get to go back on celebrity big brother on some such shit for his retirement fund. It's awful really that someone who has done so much bad in government is quids in and is untouchable.

Boy George - Agree with the above. Really not a very nice person from what he's shown of himself. And they really touched a nerve when asking him why he went to prison. He didn't think it was a fair question despite feeling anything was fair game to ask Hancock (like him or loathe him)

that acceptable in the metropolitan world of new socialism.

Matt has simply given what the program makers wanted fools to comment, be outraged and invite click bait ,viewers and adverting revenues ,did old leftie George Galloway have the same hatred or was his hatred of Israel enough to silence folk??

They set him up with tough trials but he just skipped through them with ease, rats, snakes, buried underground eating camel cock, it wasn't what they expected at all, they should try and get Jonathan Ashworth in there he would have cried at the sight of the first spider, that's what they wanted.

It's not right for politicians to be able to shoot off on jolly's when there is work to be done that should be stopped if they leave their desks, they have to leave their jobs immediately otherwise where does it end?

Another bizarre comment. Galloway was on celebrity big brother and was a national laughing stock because of it. No one cared about his opinions on Israel.

We would have all been happier had he squirmed and screamed through the many trials he was subjected to. But in reality he did everything very well much to the chagrin of the public. Whichever way you look at it he should not have deserted his constituents while remaining as an MP. Rumour has it he will not stand again as an MP but will set up a PR company with his girlfriend.

The general British public are thick as two short planks. Half of them have already forgotten the deplorable things he did during the pandemic. I overheard one girl say,”oh but he’s only human, he’s really funny”. These are the same people that liked Boris because of his clown persona when really he was a cut throat, horrible rat of a man.

If I had the financial stability and could convince my missus to do so, I’d move away from Britain as quickly as possible. A joke of a country.
