Are we likely to get a pub allocated for the Bristol game? If not, are there any which are relatively safe?

If anyone is driving up there via the A38 and from the south (which will those of you coming from Wales) do try to pop in the Crown at Churchill (although Google Maps has it down as Winscombe.
It's about 100 yards from the A38 and it's like a pub that time has forgotten: a few small cubby holes of rudimentary rooms with exposed stone walls and with log fires burning when it's cold. The furniture is rudimentary but the place has a cosiness about it and oozes with character.
It has bucked the trend in the environs of Bristol and the Mendips (it being 13 miles SW of Ashton Gate and about half if that distance to the airport) of being gentrified and the prices being unduly upgraded.
It's well worth going out of your way if you are down in this area otherwise.
It was recently featured in a BBC drama about a group of elderly folk who has a suicide pact but don't let that put you off. It's not on the tourist trade or generally much known about.

Oops. Missed a word. I meant that the above route would exclude those coming from Wales.
