Been about 4/5 times always quiet, but happy to have a pint there when in town.
Went tonight - all the City stuff gone!
Won’t bother now.

There was a thread about the pub on here. Mike had seen a rumour about the City stuff going but I'd heard different. I also heard that the previous landlord was the one who was owed money. I'll try and get an update on that but I haven't heard anything new for a while.

I went in there with my friends to have a look but left there, feeling disappointed. The beer was pricey and it was terrible, I had to take my pint back

From what I understand, the previous landlord (the City fan) was a tenant, and when his year was up, he chose not to renew, and left with debts outstanding. The new guy changed it round, and hopes to make a better go of it. To be fair, there's always been a pub there, so it must pay it's way to some extent.
On the weekend, I went to the Pump House to check out the stock at Cardiff Classic Shirts, and they had a number of framed City pictures there, that had apparently come from the Rummer. Fairly cheap as well - £20 each. Might be worth a visit.

Awful pub, overpriced, no atmosphere, small, no birds
