They were completely dominant. Could, maybe should, have won by more. Heavy rain at the end slowed the play a bit.

All on Sgorio YouTube channel.

Treble on.

Only a few years ago Cardiff were regularly a distant third to Swansea and Cardiff Met. Transformed now. Entertaining too.

We've had this debate before, but I'm guessing they would still be behind the entirely seperate Cardiff City Ladies team, who play in the English zest up?

Would be interesting to see them play each other. Easier for commentators too now that Cardiff City Ladies are going to be called Gwalia Utd.

Cardiff City Ladies (Gwalia Utd) play at a higher level against better opposition.

But Cardiff City Women went 'semi professional' last summer - which involved an increase to three training sessions a week and some financial support, although I think most of the squad have full time jobs still. No idea how the Ladies are funded.

A one off charity game would be interesting. The quality of the CCFC Women has gone up dramatically in the past 2 years.

Watching the highlights at half time and during the season what stuck with me was the range of abilities of both teams. Our tall blond winger, the "7" and a few others seem levels above the opposition. What level are these girls ? Could they make it in the WSL? If so what sort of transfer fee do they raise or do they see out their contracts and move after that?
