Can see us winning this one, however Charlton are fantastic odds with the bookies. Hopefully Harris takes Flint and leaves him there, as well as a few others.

Dont like that midfield and our new manager generally plays 442. Agree that Smithies may get the nod as Harris will know him from London.

Not sure I'd want any more than one of our shithouse strikers on the pitch at anyone time. Add all of them to the list of players to be left at the Valley :hehe:

Anything is possible Saturday. Not at all confident.

How many have we sold?
I'll be one of them. Looking forward to it.

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I'll be there. Unfortunately two local train companies here in the Midlands are taking industrial action resulting in a reduced Saturday service, plus additional Christmas shoppers hogging the aisles. Could be a long and frought day out. I'd be happy with a point. No idea how many are going but the fact it's another lunchtime kick off, on TV, and Christmas coming up (and no Warnock) should see numbers down.

I trust you will be jumping over your sofa, running round the living room like a lunatic, throwing beer in the air and then knee sliding down the drive knocking old ladies on the pavement over like ten pins whilst screaming "Gary's scored"!

Rain forecast. Hard luck Charlton. Can't do a Derby.

Have you seen our record at The Valley?
They could field a team of scarecrows and they would still beat us.

Didn’t shelvey score one year in a 2-2 draw? Malky years.

Looks like Morrison is back and Ralls and Glatzel are still out.
I wouldn't be surprised to us play 442 with Tomlin as a second striker. Something like:
---------------Smithies
Bennett--Bamba--Morrison--Peltier
Murphy -- Pack -- Bacuna -- Hoilett
-----------Tomlin -- Bogle
He likes a big man so I guess Bogle and Madine are both an option.

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I hate to say it but Gary Madine is starting up front 😟😟
Glatzel is out injured, Ralls and Murphy are out
Pack and Bacuna in midfield
Morrison back but not starting
Pelts, Nelson Flint and Bennett across the back ⚽️👍
