Good day for the Welsh clubs
Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Wrexham all won with no goals conceded.
Wonder how much a £10 accumulator would have been.

Wonder if Eric can work out the last time that all Welsh clubs won on a Saturday, without conceding?

When was the last time they all won on the same day and kept clean sheets?
Well it was 13th September 1924!
Re: Good day for the Welsh clubs
I don't mind Wrexham and County doing OK, neither are a threat to us
But the Jacks most certainly are and I want to see them in league 2
Do Preston fans want Blackpool , Burnley , Blackburn and Bolton to do well ?
My arse they do

Weren’t Aberdare Athletic & Merthyr in the Football League around that time as well. Six Welsh clubs in the FL in the 1920s.
