50+ year old men sporting snide Stone Island jumpers and Adidas Neo daps.
That said, they’re no worse than 50 year old men in Stone Island and Adidas Originals.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters

Not by me.
Question: Would you call a pair of trainers daps? I would call a pair of Vans or Chuck Taylors daps, but not a pair of trainers.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters
They’re all daps, Lew Clayton was a trainer!!
-
Re: Football Fashion Disasters
Good luck to him. That cap has character.
For our delectation, I await a photo of you in your chosen mode of apparel, Sludge, you old fashion victim....

What is a "snide" jumper?

Fake.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters
It has to be the diamond Pringle golf jumpers of the early 80’s. Imagine taking Tarby, Brucey and Ronny in the 19th as style leaders.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters
Surely Gareth Southgate wearing that M&S waistcoat at the World Cup. Absolute toad.

Mixed house checks - Burberry shirt / Aquascutum baseball cap or vice versa.

I think some Adidas could be described as daps. I wear New Balance so definitely trainers.

Take the patch off if youre over 50 ;)
I still think Stone Island produce some of the best jackets and overshirts about to be fair.
The price on some of the labels the kids are wearing these days make your eyes water. My daughter had a pair of Alexendar McQueens for Xmas off my old man. £400+ notes for a pair of trainers that looked like a disabled version of Stan Smiths.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters
My father has a stone island jumper hes in his late 70s. 😂😂.I think its one my brother discarded when he left home though.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters
Ian Wright is very dapper, Trevor Sinclair too. As much as he gets on my absolute tits Greame Souness is a very smart fella. Always turned out immaculately with a nice watch too.

Re: Football Fashion Disasters
Not clothing but blinging up of cars such as Overfinch conversions notably by Stephen Ireland

My old man has done quite well out of some of my hand me downs too. :hehe: Mainly Ralph though, sold all my old Stone Island gear on Ebay to kids with more money than sense. :hehe:

Daps are black canvas 'shoes' you'd wear in the gym.
White canvas = posh daps
