Cardiff City line up transfer move for international winger linked with Blackburn Rovers, Derby County and Reading
There are a number of other positions Mick McCarthy will want to fill quickly as we approach the opening of the summer transfer window and one of those is on the wing.
And WalesOnline has been told that Republic of Ireland international Curtis is high on the list of the Bluebirds' targets.
Like Collins, McCarthy has managed Curtis at international level and has previously spoken very highly of the winger's qualities.

Sure, another play Mick knows from his Ireland days but also Cookie's godson. Walesonline suggesting there would be a fee to pay so he might be high on our list but chances are probably quite slim still.

he's had a couple of good seasons in league one - would be a decent move if not too expensive
Re: Cardiff City linked with Chris Coleman's godson: Ronan Curtis
How do we know he will be an improvement upon Gavin Whyte? A similar sort of player.
He does look promising though.

Sounds like another Gavin White. White should be kept and we should spend any money we have on a creative midfielder.

Sounds like a better version of Gavin Whyte. Maybe the thing to do would be a player swap with Whyte going to Portsmouth. Whyte had a very good spell at Hull and seems to be pretty good at league one level. We would have to pay some money to Porstmouth depending on what both players were valued at.

That sounds a very feasible option. In a separate thread on the same topic, the poster 'Rjk' has provided some interesting comparison stats between the two players.
