Mine was Ron Healey best all round keeper
Best keeper in a one on one situation was Johnny Halworth
My favourites were Roger Handsbury, Gavin Ward and George Wood, but I though Hallworth was the best I'd seen up until we signed Neil Alexander.
Always though Andrew Dibble was the best keeper I'd seen for city. Been some other dent ones over the years. Irwin, Healey, Kasper Scmeichel, Marge, but I'd have to say Marshall is better than any of them.
The title says favourite, not best
My favourite was Fred Davies
So many to choose from. Ron Healey, Roger Roger Handsbury etc.
Tom Heaton and David Marshall are top guys too and always up for a chat.
Neil Alexander

Tony Warner.
Roger, Roger Hansbury... John Hallworth was good. I quite liked Phil Kite and preferred him to Mark Grew.
Didn't like David Williams at all.

Wot about .... the other Bob Wilson ?
My favourite because he bought me a pint when I was about 16 in the old Bluebirds Club behind the Canton on a day when Wales played England at Ninian Park. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif
Close tie between Neil Alexander and Dave the Save!

Ron Healy
Mark Grew
Legendary save in FA Cup against Man City
...and I guess the wages were poor back then so don't blame him for selling his tickets to make a couple of quid
Kite saved the pen.Quote:

I always thought Steve Williams was a better goalkeeper than David Williams.
John Holworth deserves an honorable mention too

Andy Dibble was a decent keeper as was the late Mel Rees. Showing my age Fred Davies was my favourite along with Bill Irwin
Oh yeah, it was Grew. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/homer.gifQuote:

No one has mentioned Bill Irwin. Although Healey was probably my favourite from that time.
Here is Ron Healey today. He works as a goalkeeping coach in Manchester with his son (Ron is on the left)
