Does Gunnar play too deep?
And then leaves too many holes in the middle?
Re: Does Gunnar play too deep?
Tonight, I’d say so. I think it was Brooke’s dropping into the hole that caused that
Re: Does Gunnar play too deep?
Agreed. He needs to playmake further up field and take shots himself when the opportunity arises.
Re: Does Gunnar play too deep?
Gunner one of our best players tonight and played full 94 minutes despite long lay off.
Re: Does Gunnar play too deep?
Don't think the balance was right in midfield tonight.
Every one has had a role and knows exactly what they were meant to be doing lately, gunnar had his moments in the final third, but I thought him coming in upset the balance of the team.
Re: Does Gunnar play too deep?

Re: Does Gunnar play too deep?

Pointed at Etheridge at one point as he was going to get the ball out quickly, found that strange.
For me we can't have Gunnar and Grujic in the same team.

Agreed. They are similar players and last night I thought they got in each other's way a bit leaving gaps in midfield. One or the other to start on Friday.
