What sites do you visit most - apart from CCMB?
I visit Liveleak everyday. Everything I know about the world mainly comes from what I have seen on that site. I think Liveleak could turn even the most soft headed idealist into a realist. The link below proves that there is no lower limit to human stupidity and misfortune.

These are some of the things you soon learn on Liveleak :
Taking the escalator in China is legally classified as a suicide attempt. Ditto using a zebra crossing in Russia.
Off-duty cops are responsible for the majority of deaths in Brazil.
No one in China would ever dream of helping someone involved in a road accident. Even if you find yourself upside down in a car on Beijing High Street you will remain in that position for ever unless you can escape yourself.

When I visited China there was a guy on a bicycle navigating his way around a huge, very busy and chaotic roundabout in the centre of Guangzhou whilst carrying a full length ladder on one shoulder.

Re: What sites do you visit most - apart from CCMB?
Liveleak is blocked on my office PC.
But apart from CCMB, I look at Sky News, BBC Wales news, WOL, tripadvisor and howdidido.com
Pretty boring really.

Anyone who visits China is very brave in my book. I know a man who is nearly 80 and he just wandered around China on his own eating all that mad stuff they stick in their gobs - snakes, insects, etc. But he is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. He also liked driving on the dangerous mountain roads in Montenegro.

A good job it's blocked at work. Watching some of those videos and reading the comments would get you sacked at nearly every workplace in the country.

is superior than liveleak if that is what you're after... It is called "watchpeopledie" so obviously don't go on there if you don't want to as it is graphic.

In my experience people exaggerate risk regarding travel to counties off the beaten track. However, I may change my mind in Autumn as I weave my way through three countries all with areas occupied bin part by hostile militia groups.

I've been to China quite a few times, and anyone who has been there more than a few weeks is likely to have seen a traffic accident, and I can certainly remember people helping out others, so I'm not sure about that last statement.
China is of course enormous so perhaps there are some regional differences.

I wouldn't want to visit watchpeopledie because although I've seen people die on Liveleak I don't go there to watch people die. I go there to learn about life. Most of the videos on Liveleak don't show people dying and those that do involve some sort of situation you can learn from – e.g. never go to a wedding in India, don't light matches near Chinese drainage and don't over-inflate lorry tyres.

When I was in Saigon I seen a guy with a fridge freezer on the back of his moped. Also seen another guy with a washing machine on the back of his moped.
Craziest city I've ever been to.

Why dont you go first?
I find porn less offensive to watching a video of someone having their head hacked off.
