This is quite sobering, especially after our lads being criticised for their lack of intensity in 30 degrees. Horrendous situation.

Sad scenes, hope he makes it through. Bar a hospital its probably the best place for it to happen.

I wasnt watching. That doesn't look good. There seems to be an eerie silence on twitter and elsewhere.
Id turned over to see the score and there was a gardening programme on. Wondered what was going on?

Hopefully he's alright! If there is a positive, apart from having heart problems in a+e , in the middle of a football pitch is probably the best place. Would have been in the care of the pros within minutes

Uefa say he's been transferred to hospital and has been stabilised. Which if true is promising news
There is also a picture going around of him awake on the stretcher but I'm not trusting that. Waiting for official updates

Thanks Mike, as you say, that sounds a bit hopeful. I didn’t see what happened and was trying to work which Danish player was receiving treatment, turns out it was their best outfield player.
The Danish FA have said Eriksen is awake and waiting more tests in hospital.

The picture I mention has appeared on Getty Images so I'm happy it's genuine. He was awake when sat on stretcher.
What an amazing job from the medical team because when they got to him it looked bleak.
