Re: Fantasy football ground thread
The Bob Bank “temporary” bar structure. If I remember rightly the window fell out during half time of a particular tedious game….which then led to a great atmosphere and a win second half!

The Subbuteo sized TV gantry between the bob bank and the Canton
They looked like little mice
-
Re: Fantasy football ground thread
If I remember correctly there was a booth selling BIF BAF tickets between the old Canton stand and the Bob Bank
Shirley to be included in any new ground development

Re: Fantasy football ground thread
The bar that resembled a prison cell for the staff member that sold cans outside the front of the Grandstand

Re: Fantasy football ground thread
The Radio Ninian box between the Enclosure & Grangetown End.
-
Re: Fantasy football ground thread
The railway sleeper type terracing towards the back of the Grangetown End.... just to give the ground more flexibility with the ‘bounce’.

That would be my nomination or that little box at the back of the Enclosure before they extended the Grandstand, think it was for hospital broadcasting, but you’d have struggled to get two people in there.

Wasn't there also a Bif-Baf bingo sign in a small, raised construction in the opposite corner?

Re: Fantasy football ground thread
The snack bar at the back of the Canton Stand that used to serve orange squash in triangular cartons. That tasted so good with a bag of Oxo crisps

Think they were called Jubbly ( The drink in triangular cartons) And the crisps had a chipmunk on them I think. Bloody brilliant! My old man would take me to Franklins before a game for a pasty.

My memory of those times can be vague I just remember there was a booth. It could be radio ninian was in that location and the bif and baf was diametrically opposite
