By my calculations including the FA Cup it's 11 winless games. Anyone know when we had a longer winless run than that?
I doubled checked and last season (when we lost 8 in a row) we went on a 10 game winless run.
Must be a decade at least? 15 years?

I can remember 1980-1. 10 league games and a FA Cup defeat at Leicester making 11 in a row. We actually stayed up thanks to Richie Morgan, finishing 19th but it was a grim December and January....
I was just 20!
We went 9 without a win at the start of the last PL season. 10 if you include the draw in the final game of the promotion season.

I remember this collapse but also don't remember it being quite as bad as it was!
I think what makes this particular run we're on feel all the worse and longer is the feeling we are going from one mistake to another, and there doesn't seem like a lot of hope around the club
