Leeds to spend £30M on striker
Has a promoted side ever spent that much one player?

Fulham spent £27 million on Seri, with a few more in the 20s

Seri was crap

Bielsa knows he needs at least ne top class striker to stand a chance of staying up. I wouldn’t be surprised if another forward was signed for big money before the start of the season alongside a new CB or defensive midfielder.

4 goals in la Liga last season. Couple years back did remember he did well and looking into it that was the only year he has hit double figures in the league with 16.
Good player on his day, has a decent record for Spain but for £30m?

they need someone though, and he's got to be an improvement on bamford.
Re: Leeds to spend £30M on striker
So hard to get a decent striker these days it seems. Was listening to Talksport about Bournemouth the other day talking about signings they made last year, was it that Solanke bloke they pinched from Liverpool when there was talk of us going for him? £19 million and no goals.....think they had another that cost over £20 mill with 3 goals.
Re: Leeds to spend £30M on striker
Ings was £20 million and scored 22, but there are a lot of players that don't work out at that price range
Re: Leeds to spend £30M on striker
Risky could flop as a striker , down they fall with the debt ,going to miss Leeds always guaranteed us points.
Re: Leeds to spend £30M on striker
Just seems to be the price, of a general above average forward these days, crazy.
I bet Chopra, Bothroyd et al would be worth close to that today at their best.
Re: Leeds to spend £30M on striker
I'm just prey his goal return is as good as good as Guerra and Cornelius was for us.
29-year-old has scored 59 goals in 220 games ?
Re: Leeds to spend £30M on striker
I hate Leeds, hope they come straight back down

Bam ford is very poor and a championship level striker at best.
They desperately need a decent striker as chances may not be too many

Bamford was the top scorer in a Championship winning team, how bad can he be?
