Lyle Taylor to Nottingham Forest not yet official - but he had a medical yesterday.
Stoke are going for the older look this summer. Apart from James Chester from Villa, Morgan Fox and Stephen Fletcher (both frees from Sheffield Wednesday) they are also close to signing John Obi Mikel!

Yes - that is the best site for completed deals, and NewsNow Championship is pretty good on the emerging stories if you pick and choose the sources.
There hasn't been much activity yet in the window, but Forest seem to be busy, Stoke are racking up 'names' at the back end of their careers, and Watford are unloading players more quickly than the other relegated clubs.
Brentford are about to lose two thirds of the BMW (if not the lot) for a massive profit - but will they be able to get any replacements playing the Brentford way in time for the start of the season?
Neil Harris has said a few things about the new normal for EFL clubs - with very little money about and many clubs looking at frees, loans and player swaps. Most of the significant signings so far - not many of them - seem to be frees. The Moore signing is one of the few for a Championship club that involves a fee.
The transfer window is open until 5 October, so plenty of time yet.
Neil Etheridge linked with a £4m move to Sheffield United!
The Etheridge rumour was from last night - and not from 'a reliable journalist' - so either total rubbish or else Etheridge was one of the 'reserve list' the Blades had if Ramsdale fell through. That said it wouldn't surprise me to see a genuine bid for Neil Etheridge from a lower Premier League side looking for a cup and back up keeper - and the figure suggested looks credible too.
Sheffield United sold Aaron Ramsdale to Bournemouth for £1m a few years ago (when they were in League One).
Elsewhere Cardiff City are taking a look at (Manchester) United's teenage defender Ollie Denham. The 18-year-old centre-back, who has been capped by Wales at youth level has been training at the Championship club.

Take the £4m for Etheridge, acquire Rambo on a FT and spend the dosh on wages!
Lyle Taylor signing now confirmed. Forest also signed Tyler Blackett on a free from Reading. They are busy!

They tend to be every season for all of the good it does them, but at least they do have a working Academy which comes up trumps every now and again.
Matthew Cash's sale during this window will help balance their books somewhat and last season much of their spending would have been funded by the departure of Ben Osborn to Sheffield United.
here's a good summary of what each club has Done
