Colwill and O'Dowda both out.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
With our woeful home record it is difficult to be optimistic. Hopefully though, Hull on the beaches as well and this might just peter out to a 0-0 draw.

Hull are 6 points off the playoffs with a game in hand - this is a must win for them surely?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Horvath
Ng
Phillips
Goutas
JWE
Siopis
Ralls
Ramsey
Bowler (sadly)
Meite (sadly)
Grant
Predicting an inexplicable 2-0 win completely against the run of play, following Norwich's defeat against Ipswich. Rinse and repeat for midweek and we'll be going to The Den all confused how we're 2 points off the playoffs.
It's not in the club's ability to have a boring finish to a season.

Pretty sure Collins and Turnbull will start, not JWE or Ramsey. For all their faults, Bowler played well Monday, and Meite is the nearest we have to a target man. Only change possible is Robinson for Meite

I'd like to see us try a 3-5-2

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Technically, we could still make the play-offs, so Bulut is more or less obliged to play what he thinks is his strongest side. Okay, it's not very likely, but while the chance still exists statistically, he would be remiss if he didn't at least try. All those fans saying he should do this or that, or he should give youngsters a chance, is missing the point. However remote it is, with six games to go, we are still in with a shout.

He’s seen how our forwards have performed in matches and in training, he’s seen how, say, Ashford has performed in training. Given the displays by our forwards this season, perhaps Ashford is part of our strongest side, he couldn’t be much weaker.

An easy win too….

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Unchanged starting 11 from Coventry, with Ashford and Joel Colwill on the bench.

Shows how exciting this game is....nearly half an hour in and no comments...! Don't think there's even been a free kick yet...

WHY do we try and play so defensively at home....not good enough....
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Why wasn't Philogene carded for that obvious and blatant pull back on Ng. The free kick was given so a card should have followed.

Broken record at this point… really dire. Stream cutting out approaching half time might allow me to find something more productive to do.
And there it is… 2-0, far too easy.
