Builders/painters & decs.
I'm re-painting front of house. The bays are bath stone and in places have broken away. Nothing massive but prob. need to fill before painting/sealing.
As I'm re-painting is it necessary to use bath stone filler/mix, or can i just make up a sand & cement mix.
Any advice welcome.

Painting sandstone traps in water which causes more to break away. You'd be better off getting the stone restored. It looks far better on a house and will add more value to the property than it will cost.
