Never seemed to be the most confident of keepers.

WOL got their story from Football Insider who got it from a Cardiff source,
Football Insider was started by a bunch of mates who were on the same course together at Salford Uni. which has added a couple of ex-sports journalists.
There could be something to this story but in general it seems that anyone can now start a blog or website that quickly becomes the source for the national media.

The fact the Allsop reports were dredged up again at the weekend appeared to throw shades of uncertainty from some supporters over Dillon Phillips' future at the club.
However, a source at Cardiff has told WalesOnline "Dillon isn't going anywhere", thus finally putting to bed those burgeoning rumours of the 26-year-old's potential departure.

He was pretty highly rated when he was at Charlton, and kept Smithies out of the side for long periods over the last couple of years, and Smithies is a proven good goalkeeper at this level.
If we are bringing in a new goalkeeping coach then maybe we will see him back to his best.
It probably also doesn't help playing behind a extremely porous midfield and defence for much of this season.
