This nonsense with the ticket office being shut, is not actually encouraging fans to support the team, is it ?
Why can’t they open up, like every other business ?
All well and good saying “collect tickets on the day”, but do fans want the hassle ? (That’s if collect on the day is available for this game”

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
From the Steve Morison press conference this morning:
Tom Sang (injury) and Marlon Pack (suspension) not available.
Sam Bowen, James Collins, Leo Bacuna and Joe Ralls all doubtful.

Our only fit midfielder is Will Vaulks!!!.
What a feckin nightmare!!!

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
So we’re looking at a 4-1-5 formation then? Should be interesting...

Has anyone received their tickets yet, I bought mine late last week?

Looking at Stoke's planning area they think we are going 3-4-3

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I'd go with
.......................Smithies,
McGuinness----Flint----Nelson-----Brown
----------------Ng-----------Vaulk
Colwill------------K Evans----------Giles
-------------------Moore
subs: Phillips, Bagan, Morrison, Harris, I Davies, King, Zimba
Super thin on the ground. I did mull over Nelson or Morrison but having Morrison and Flint exposes us for pace.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Have we seen anything at all to suggest that Ng could play in midfield?

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
My team would be :-
Smithies
NG Morrison Flint Bagen
McGuiness
Vaulks King
Colwill Moore Giles
With McGuiness sitting infront of the back two NG and Bagen could push up to support the midfield
We had Bamba do it for us a few years back worked ok.

Stoke are evens to win. With the problems we have it could be a chance to double your money but beware the "bounce".

I'm not sure morrison and flint work well as a pair. We've let in a lot of goals from through balls where our defence has been immediately back pedalling and unable to recover. That said, looking at Stoke's season so far, they haven't really been getting behind teams too often, create a lot of longer range chances (something else we seem to have let a lot in of) and they win a lot of aerial duels. Nick Powell is the danger man on set pieces.

Nick Powell is out injured - maybe until the New Year - with a cracked leg bone.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Lost last 4 games, so may just be lacking a bit of confidence.
Sam Clucas is out as well as Powell.
