Did any season ticket holder have a problem getting thru the turnstiles at CCS last Sunday?

Guy sitting near me is a ST holder. He renewed for the 2019/20 season a few days before the Chelsea game and then found that his current ticket was invalid and couldn't get into the ground until it was sorted by the ticket office.

Anyone else experience this or hear about something like this?

It doesn't make a lot of sense as the Club has said "If you're renewing your current seat and still fall under the same price band, you can keep your Season Ticket card for the 2019/20 campaign".

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the need to create a brand-new Bluebirds Club Account since 30th August 2018, which all supporters have to do and which I did today when renewing.
