No he is not a natural goal poacher, good hard worker, yes, he will come with excessive wage demands and we dont want that earnings imbalance in the dressing room.

Too many people watching their Premier League heroes here.
No I wouldn't give Campbell the 35k a week he's reported to be earning here last time but he's better than the likes of Pilkington upfront.

He played 12 games in the championship for us and scored 7 goals. That's a good tally for any striker. He also scored twice in our opening Premiership game against Manchester City. I don't think he would agree to come though and he would probably be too expensive for us to afford.

The man was injury prone the last time he was here and as said further up in the thread he would be wanting a massive wage

Amazingly 5 of Campbell's Premier league goals came against Man City (3), Man Utd and Liverpool (1). His only other strike was in a 2-2 home draw against Sunderland. That means 2/3rds of his goals came against the top two. Had he been able to get anywhere near that strike rate when it mattered against mid table sides and teams at the bottom we might have had half a chance of staying up, but 1 goal against the teams placed 8th-19th was piss poor.
This season has not exactly been a success for him, either. 4 starts in the Premier league, substituted in every one of them, 7 further appearances as a substitute, 6 hours of time on the pitch and no goals.

Which is why I said No. GOOD DETAIL.

Surely his record in the Championship is the most relevant to us. 5 goals in 7 games is a good record.

Sorry mate that was then , this is now. You are living in the past.

Re: Frazier Campbell - would you like to see him back?
If he was available within our wage structure yes Campbell really enjoyed his first spell.
I can imagine Jerome will score quite a few for Norwich next season and his goal record in the premier league ain't great.

Would rather we go all out and bring Mutch back to the club

Proven quality in the championship, can't see him costing that much as Palace only paid pittance for him and he's barely ever played for them.
Doubt we can afford his wages these days though and he seems to be a player happy to sit in the stands at a prem club rather than play in the championship.

On a sensible wage, would be a definite yes for me.

Re: Frazier Campbell - would you like to see him back?
@ £35k a week no chance
@ £10k a week he'd be the perfect fit, an excellent finisher at our level, quick (assuming he still has it?) and works his nuts off. He also seemed to give a sh!t about us

Headless chicken footballer. Doubt he will be in Trollopes thoughts.
