With Woodgate appointment

Let’s hope the players feel the same
Re: Bournemouth fans not happy
To be fair this forum after Mick's appointment was probably worse.
I suppose woodgate isn't quite as sexy as Henry.

Change the names and it's exactly like reading this board.

Ah the lesser spotted "They shouldn't be in our league", always a pleasure when the opposition roll that one out
Re: Bournemouth fans not happy
We’ve been in their Football League longer than they have.
Re: Bournemouth fans not happy
Bournemouth is a shit show of a club compared to us and that is some indictment.
Re: Bournemouth fans not happy
Bournemouth are quietly going about finding their level in the pyramid league system. They are a League One club at best and have punched above their weight in the last few years. Their stadium holds only 11000 people for goodness sake and they struggle to fill it with their own fans !

Their stadium is a great place to go if you want to avoid the crowds.
Re: Bournemouth fans not happy
I still see them with the Rochdales and Shrewsbury’s of the world.....
Re: Bournemouth fans not happy
We play counter-attacking football now - which is exactly what Bournemouth did when they were in the PL

Obviously, he has a very short memory. He's right though. They are a League One club if ever there was one. He's probably too young to remember.

Now see, I thought I was being stone-age neanderthal in thinking 'What the hell is a dinky club like Bournemouth doing in the Premier League?' I've wondered the same over the years about teams like Wigan and Barnsley — and Wimbledon, for God's sake, all lodged in the lower divisions when I was coming to football consciousness. Even Leicester City were basically us for the longest time. Now look at them. What happened?
Glad to see I do not wonder alone.

Sounds a bit like another small club....38 miles West of here. .....The Welsh Wigan !
