Doing the Ayatollah To Random Strangers
In Bridgend yesterday evening visiting the old dear in hospital
Stuck in traffic in Coity Road
Taxi driver in car next to me coming other way
See his Bluebirds face mask
Been horn , slap head , he slaps back , thumbs up
Passengers in back laughing
But we were not
This sort of thing is serious
Re: Doing the Ayatollah To Random Strangers
This is still alive when you go abroad as I experienced the other day whilst in Cyprus.
Bloke in a bar acknowledged me with the Ayatollah as I walked past with my City shirt on.

It's great abroad
Had a :ayatollah: from a guy in Disney Florida before
I prefer the simple Bluuuuuebirds but still love a bit of recognition

Years ago I was on a bus somewhere near Bridgend and saw a young lad on a bike, wearing a City shirt, cycling around the bus shelter the bus had stopped in. From inside the window I did the ayatollah in his direction. He did the same, letting go of the handlebars in the process and he fell off his bike!!

Think he ended up in hospital as the exhaust burnt his leg
Re: Doing the Ayatollah To Random Strangers
On serious note
Is Dai Hunt Ok?
Has anyone seen him in the last 18 months?

I saw him in town last week trying to stop someone on one of those nuclear powered scooters, failed and he strode off in a very annoyed Mr Hunt type way!

I’m sure you Ayotollahed me about 15 years ago on Cowbridge High St, I was working there at the time. Of course I replied
Re: Doing the Ayatollah To Random Strangers
I got ayatollahed by a kid in a van as I cycled to the match tonight.
Most of the time I am out and about and see someone in a city shirt it is a little kid. It's probably not appropriate for a 60 year old man to be doing the ayatollah to some little kid.
Re: Doing the Ayatollah To Random Strangers
I did the Ayatollah at the Big Buddha in HK. No-one responded.
