James Bell. Is he good, bad or ugly?

I hope that the fourth official doesn’t brush off any tricky decisions and goes through them with a fine tooth comb etc etc

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I wonder if Bulut will stick with Meite.

I'm sure that Mr Bell will sort out any ding songs.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Collins and Grant will surely come back. Big decisions over Meite and possibly Robinson
Do Etete or Ugbo come in, Colwill for Robbo?
Even possible Robbo could go up top, with Colwill behind. Some big decisions to be made.
Think we will get a draw.
1-1

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The Saints are unbeaten in their last 10 games, we've won both games I've seen us play at St. Mary's, so something has to give.
Think the players will respond with presumably Collins and Grant coming back in - and for the Grant naysayers amongst us, I think tuesday showed why he's been a guaranteed starter for us this season.
Saints 1 - 3 City

Robbo definitely not getting dropped, been good lately and Colwill nowhere near his standard… yet..
Apart from Ramsey, Robinson is by far our best attacking player if not player.

No doubt the players will need to do a lot of running today especially trying to win the ball back in forward areas while Southampton pass it around the back. Really not sure it’s a role for Colwill. Wouldn’t even surprise me to see Wintle come in.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I'd like to see Alnwick, Colwill and even Ugbo start this one.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Cardiff City XI: Runarsson; Ng, McGuinness, Goutas, Collins; Siopis, Wintle; Bowler, Robinson, Grant; Meite.
Subs: Alnwick, Romeo, Ralls, Etete, Ugbo, Adams, Panzo, Colwill, Tanner.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
So only unexpected change is Witle for Ralls.
Looks a solid side. Russell Martin had us sorted when he was at Swansea. Hope he doesn't do the same today.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Either Bulut has lost his mind or there is some rotten loan deal clause about this excuse of a goalkeeper. It’s going to cost us time after time until he bombs him out.

Alnwick signed a contract extension only a couple of months ago as well.
