Elyounoussi is right, the player in the 70s was eighteen, not seventeen, when he played at Ninian Park - he was seventeen when he made his Southampton debut a few months earlier.

Yeah, I can see what you did there. TOBW says this player was actually 18 when he played in a 1-0 defeat here, he was 17 when he made his debut but that wasn't against us. Went on to become an international.Quote:
