He was the Ref, for our 2-0 win at Bristol City a few weeks ago.
Last season, 2-1 home win against Huddersfield and a 2-2 draw at Hull

bournemouth/Watford draw.
Rotherham. Millwall, Brizzle and Stoke to win. All doable.
And of course us to win at Boro.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This game has unfortunately come too soon for us.
The players have been dead on their feet in the last minutes of games recently, Boro have had a extra days rest, and we have only just travelled back and going to have to travel again for this match.
I am sure the mentality and effort will be there, but I can not see their energy levels holding up, either we play a tired team or a weakened team. either way 1-0 loss but would be more than happy with a 1-1.

You reckon? My way of thinking is that a team that is winning would play again the next day if they could, teams that are getting beat use the ‘oh the games are coming a bit too thick and fast’ excuse. I wouldn’t be surprised if any one of our players would be fuming should they be ‘rested’. When you’re confident and on top you relish the next challenge, it’s in any sportsman’s blood......or should be!!

I think I’m just preparing myself for the worst so I can be pleasantly surprised again.
I am normally a very optimistic person, but even this run of form feels too good to be true for me!

it would be great to get another win, but even better to benefit from a dodgy ref decision just to hear NW whinge a little more :hehe:

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Good to see they're flying up to Teeside. Hell of a week otherwise.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That's great news that they're flying up to Middlesbrough.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
No score predictions from me this time. Dont want to jinx it.
Provided there's no injuries it is almost certain there will be no team changes, though I dont know how long quite a few of that team can play at the level they are doing. I probably would be tempted to make a couple of changes, but I'm not a manager.

So when was the last time you gave a score prediction?

I checked, the last prediction you made was against Preston. You predicted a 2-0 win for the City and we only bloody won 4-0!
Yeah, better you don't jinx us again.. :hehe:

0-1 City. Tight game but we'll nick it with a Wilson free kick with 20 minutes to go.

Don't tempt me......

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I think a win depends on us scoring relatively early and then the 11 knackered players hanging on for the rest of the game.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Looking like another 3 points. Unstoppable.

Didn't you do enough damage with your Bournemouth prediction? :hehe:

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Squad needs rotating but I doubt he'll change a winning team. I'll take a draw (1-1)
