Methinks a few dodgy decisions coming up.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I hope we are not as embarrassed as we were against them the last time we met.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I fancy a 1-1 draw. Otherwise a narrow single goal win for us.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This season has seen the 13th occasion where Swansea have won the first league South Wales derby of the season. Of the previous 12 occurances of this, we've won the next derby 9 times and drawn the other 3.
We've lost the first derby of the season at home on 4 occasions. Our record in Swansea in the second meeting of the season reads 3 wins and a draw, keeping 2 clean sheets in those 4 games as well.

Remarkable. Shows how desperate the initial losers are to get one back. Hope this continues tomorrow and we're not on the wrong end of the first ever double.

Not as confident as usual but still pretty sure we can bully them into submission - 2-1 Cardiff.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hope the ref doesn't fall for 'The Swansea Scream'
Any partial or even non contact on players like Ayew, Roberts, Naughton, Bidwell just for starters brings about a high shrill screech like a 13 year old girl at a One Direction concert. In an empty stadium this screech can easily influence a ref and has been used by them (and not just them by the way) on many an occasion. Not knocking it as it's an effective option. Yes it's cheating but this is a much more 'professional' outfit than past Swansea teams.
Ayew has a miraculous ability to get straight back up with a smile on his face after screaming like he's been shot by a sniper after cheating a foul.

Learnt something new today. Apparently 60,855 tickets were sold for the derby in 1949 and this would be our record attendance, but only 57,510 were recorded through the turnstile.
This would put us in the top-20 highest record attendances by club, moving above West Ham.

Tickets? Unlikely for a game in 1949, pay on the gate. Obsv 1 gate was the Directors "special" gate :hehe:

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hoping for a cracking game today and that MMcC and the team realise the importance of this game to City fans. Shame there will be no fans there though. If we are beaten by the better team on the day so be it, but worried that we might be cheated out of a win by a combination of histrionics from the Jacks and poor refereeing. Almost certain to be a controversial penalty or a sending-off!

Vaulks will be so wound up after being left out of Wales squad he is a certainty to be the one to be sent off.

Probably Cooper has done his homework and already knows which City player(s) are the ones to target. Just hope that the ref is aware that the Jacks have significant recent "form" when it comes to play-acting!

You'll have to wait your turn BT. Loads of us bluebirds want to give Roberts a slap. 😠
