He didn't seem to answer about a football identity, only focussing on getting ex-players involved. As Barca have shown that can and cannot be the answer.
Football has moved on and this is a fairly recent phenomenon (at least in this country) but i cannot remember a time where i thought we had any long term on-field strategy and it always seems to be just about the next game for us whereas teams like Southampton, Brentford, Bournemouth seem to have a system that has a more long term vision.Quote:
