Is Jody Morris still waiting in that hotel?

I couldn't believe that 43 years after watching my first game, I would be sitting on the sofa for well over 3 hours hanging on every repetitive word coming out of Sky Sports News, whilst checking my phone every 5 minutes or so.

I posted on here many moons ago that we should sign Rickie Lambert when he was having a field day just across the Severn Bridge. Most responses then were that he was a lower league striker who wouldn't do it for us.

Anyway, it's nice to behave like an excitable football fan now and then and I hope that the 34 year old version proves me right.
