Desperate times! Roald Dahl costumes
So, our 7 year old's school has decided to do Roald Dahl dressing up Friday, and all the shops seem to have sold out!!
As a desperate question has anyone's kids already had this in their school and want to sell the costume? For a 7 year old boy. Open to all suggestions except Matilda!! Will collect anywhere in the valleys/Cardiff!!

Surely you can do something with a few bars of Cadburys Dairy Milk?

Not being the most creative all I can think of is to eat them..

You could make a giant paper mache peach.

Can't do photos, but our 7 year old grand-daughter dressed up as Mrs Twit, just from stuff around the house and she WON the prize for best dressed, as the teachers said she showed creativity in not buying ready made shit from the shop.
Google Mrs TWIT

My daughter went as Sophie from BFG. All it took was a nightie and some oversized glasses, she's already blonde.

Re: Desperate times! Roald Dahl costumes
Augustus Gloop seems easy enough you'll need a red and white hooped jumper and a pair of long denim shorts,if your boy in ginger that's an added bonus. Google it he's from Charlie and the chocolate factory

Re: Desperate times! Roald Dahl costumes
Fox mask, for fantastic mister fox.
Or make a golden sandwich board and do it as a golden ticket

Make a medal with "Champion Of The World" written on it. If you had the foresight to name your son Daniel then you're laughing.

Re: Desperate times! Roald Dahl costumes
Cheers for all the suggestions guys!! Going to put our heads together and try and make one tonight. Obviously wonka would be the obvious choice but same as you, my top hat's in the wash.
If anyone does have a spare one ready-bought to offload in the meantime drop me a message but going to bite the bullet and make an effort!! :-(
