I guess that all of the Premier League clubs will clear £100M next season!
Re: £98 million to get relegated.
The author of the article linked below estimates Swansea will receive another £89M over the next three seasons in parachute payments should they not get promoted back to the Premier League. With any luck their owners will do a Blackpool by pocketing as much as the booty as they can.
This is how much Swansea City can expect to receive in parachute payments and how they work: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...y-can-14666717

I wonder what our wage bill is currently ? And what it will be next year ?
That £98 million can be blown easily on silly signings on silly money.

Seems to be the going rate,no doubt some of our lads will expect a hefty pay rise.
Re: £98 million to get relegated.
Didn't they get a massive bonus if they got promoted?

The club`s wage bill in the year to 31 May 2017 was £29m , of which £26m related to players . In the previous year the figures were £33.5m and £30.2m.
I don`t expect the wage bill to have gone up in the season just ended , other than in respect of the one-off promotion bonuses.
Re: £98 million to get relegated.
How much did we get for getting 2nd place?
