Or use 02920643600 and save yourself a fortune
Re: Newcastle home on general sale
Still a few tickets left, theyve just released some tickets in one block of the grandstand, 1st few rows.
Re: Newcastle home on general sale
Loads more on sale now. The strategy seems to be sell every other row, in stages, in the Upper Ninian. Yesterday it looked like roughly 40 left online. I think the club have to be careful not to make matches look like a sell out as that might put people off.
Re: Newcastle home on general sale
What's with this "Max 2 per person" bollocks !!!!!!
What if a family of 4 want to go and want to buy at the same time to make sure they are sat together !
Club making an easy job, difficult, if you ask me.
Make it easier and sell the buggers
Re: Newcastle home on general sale
Chances are there are Family Stand tickets still available, just never show up on eticketing as you have to ring the ticket office. Or...two adults plus two nippers woukd do the job elsewhere in the CCS. Might need to sign up another adult to do that though. As you say, not easy. The club just don't want the wrong sort in the FS or peoole buying up loads and touting tickets. The latter will, no doubt, reappear soon.
Re: Newcastle home on general sale
do they sell tickets with a restricted view,? - it would ease the pain for many fans. :hehe:

Not this season, but all of the tickets sold last season had a restricted view. No matter where you were sat, you couldn't see a Premier League match.
I believe Leeds have been selling those tickets since 2004.

Well at least we’re there to be relegated, unlike some.

I never get why this is funny? Surely the cheaper more people can see a match the better? Especially if it encourages more people to see get into football?
South Wales is a working class ares, there isn't the disposable income there once was, any way people can be encouraged to watch a match the better.
In the current climate where many working class families are struggling to get by I don't get the obsession with empty seats etc, especially when some rip off merchants are charging 50 quid to watch a match. Football clubs are supposed to be hubs of the community not vapid corporations charging extortionate prices for an hour and a half of entertainment.
This sums up that ridiculous tribalism article yesterday, bragging about a club over charging local people while getting smug about it while never attending a live game. Baffling nonsense.
Re: Newcastle home on general sale
you are in the premier league now, of course the club are going to milk it for all its worth.
you will have thousands of fans coming out of the woodwork again, because you are back in the top flight, the club are not going to reduce prices when attendances will increase. you will have sell outs against the big clubs - or you should do :hehe:
tv money will increase, how much money you make will all be taken in to account , some clubs such as ourselves and sheff wed have been paying top dollar for years without nothing to show for it at the end . the key will be how long you can stay up there , and whether you can establish yourselves for any length of time.

Last place I went with a restricted view was Elland Road. So restricted the locals thought they were watching a decent (home) team. We will miss our six points.
