Surprising defensive stat

Only Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs and Crystal Palace have kept more clean sheets than us this season in the PL. We've managed 7 which, like our win tally, already matches our previous PL season.

It also means that, when we do concede in games, it tends to be a lot. If you take away the 7 games where we've kept clean sheets, we've let in 2.6 goals a game when we have conceded. That's the highest in the division, even higher than Fulham's, simply because they keep far fewer clean sheets, but let in less than we do when they do concede. Both Fulham and us have let in 3 or more goals in a game 10 times. Burnley and Huddersfield come next with 8, Bournemouth 7.
