Re: Neil Warnock and son James probed by FA over transfer dealings
NEIL WARNOCK’S dealings at Cardiff are being probed by the FA after son James was used in contract negotiations.
Football’s rulers last night confirmed they want to hear from the Bluebirds’ manager about his son’s involvement in three separate deals.
A spokesman said: “The FA are seeking observations from the relevant parties but have no further comment at this stage.”
Captain Sean Morrison left his agent and used James Warnock to broker a new three-year deal in the summer of 2017.
The FA rulebook for agents, section E4, relates to a ‘conflict of interest’ surrounding deals that involve family members.
The manager’s son was also used to negotiate a new deal for Rhys Healey.
He signed a contract in October 2017 that takes the 24-year-old striker up to the end of next season.
Warnock’s son is also named on official FA paperwork for negotiating Craig Noone’s contract cancellation.
Winger Noone, 31, had a year left on his deal when the Bluebirds agreed to terminate it in the summer of 2017.
James Warnock’s name appears on each of the three contracts lodged with the FA for the 2017-18 season, which ended with Warnock Sr leading Cardiff back to the Premier League.

Re: Neil Warnock and son James probed by FA over transfer dealings
The documents for the players are stated as all having been in the FA's possession since 2017, when they were agreed. If so, why is it only now that they are being investigated. The FA must have been aware for nearly two years that James Warnock was involved (if he was). This smacks of a typically scaremongering, sensationalised story by that rag, The Sun, just to fill up column inches and on the back of the recent stories surrounding the Sala situation.

The players mentioned are related to Cardiff, not Palace.

Why don't you stop paying the BBC then, so we don't have to put up with this sort of thing!

It looks like Cardiff City FC are responding to this shit too..
In a statement to Sportsmail, Cardiff said: 'Cardiff City will work with the FA to ensure it receives all information needed to determine the facts.'

Re: Neil Warnock and son James probed by FA over transfer dealings
It's not that unusual for a manager's son to be an agent. Alex Ferguson and David Moyes' sons wpring to mind but there must be others as well.

They could have said they were not in contact with the FA about the matter if nothing was happening, as opposed to saying they will make the relevant information available for the FA to determine the facts, which kind of backs up what the BBC, the Sun, and the Daily Mail reported.

Maybe they have got it in for Warnock, who knows with all this agent stuff in the media spotlight, scapegoats will need to be found.

Exactly, so why are they focusing on it now? Don't they think our Neil has been through enough already?

Maybe they (the press), think some daft people will reprint their shit story on the tinternet and TRY to give it credence :hehe::hehe:

Re: Neil Warnock and son James probed by FA over transfer dealings
There's a James Warnock who was (or is ) the Arsenal in the Community’s Football Development Officer.
Is this Neil Warnock's son?
I would be inclined to agree that due to the Sala incident the scumbag journos will drag up any ole shit that is even 1% true if it revolves around someone in the latest topics.
Now, if the storyline was that James Warnock was the agent behind the Sala transfer, that would be a 'solid gold' story to read.
As it is, that storyline belongs to a snakey **** from Bawtry.

Or maybe it's about FA rules that contain provisions in section E4, covering situations where potential 'conflicts of interests' which may arise when family members are involved in deals?

Which happened at Palarse, so the family connections have already been investigated, so why repeat the process ????
