Start as we mean to carry on
Aerial battles won - 25 (2/20)
Pass success - 61% (18/20)
Possession - 44.7% (15/20)
Fouls - 15 (15/20)
Long balls - 28.9% (2/20)
Short passes - 71.1% (19/20)
Anyone predicting these stats will change much and is that mere fact enough to say we need to be less predictable?
Re: Start as we mean to carry on
Like looking at Boro’s stats under Pulis last year.
Re: Start as we mean to carry on
The people who were clammering for Warnock to stay will deserve all that they get. Although in the minority, I was hoping for a totally different approach this season. Even if we get promoted, it won't be an enjoyable experience. Football has moved on, and there are only a few diehards left who are stuck firmly in the past.

It wasn't.
We let it slip away. It was painful to watch.
Re: Start as we mean to carry on
The only way it changes if we purchase or play a different type of midfielder.
Re: Start as we mean to carry on
Sounded like a crazy 15 minutes to start second half ! If we want to go up then we need a stronger centre midfielder who can control a game ! Sounded like game became too open and that doesn’t suit us as we don’t have the pace at the back to cope with that kind of game!
Reid missed a good chance, they missed a soft penalty, Etheridge got injured and Day’s first 2 touches were picking the ball out of the net ...... defence sleeping on first goal , a combination of Morrison not closing Windass down effectively and Day positioning for second ? Although he may have been deceived by ball going thru Morrison? 3rd goal nothing Day could do but maybe we could have closed their player down quicker ?

1. First game (see other results).
2. Defence changes.
3. First day back .
4. Lost keeper at critical stage 5. Perhaps Bogle should have started, along with Tomlin.

Exciting for the neutral, painful for a Cardiff City fan
