I have a unit which I have had for 3 years now. It’s quite powerful however it doesn’t seem to be lowering the room temperature enough. Is it possible that this u it is too powerful for a small room ?

Probably look to sell it. The mrs says it’s too noisy. Also it all apparently makes you warmer, as when you go back into a normal room after being in an air conditioned one it’s worse. Woman’s logic.
