Spare a thought for young people also.
Often an easy target but they are suffering with all this upheaval with their education.

I can relate. My daughter is 15, 16 in December, has always been a good student but is suffering terribly at the moment with worrying about her GCSEs this year. She痴 been getting very emotional and at times hysterical. With mental illness a theme in my family me and her mother are very worried about her. Shes also lost her weekend job because of these ridiculous 2 week isolation rules in schools. 1 person in a year group gets covid 150+ pupils in a said year group have to be stuck inside isolating for 2 weeks, back to school for 2 days then another 2 weeks isolation because a teacher tested positive so home for another 2 weeks isolation.

I値l freely admit that I知 starting to find the isolation tough , and I知 an introverted guy that prefers my own company (7 months working from home). I genuinely wonder what longer term damage we are doing to ourselves.
People showing signs of cracking up a bit in work, but no one really talking about it...

That sounds really tough mate . Is she that stressed out that you think it might be worth asking her if she would like to speak to someone ? Childline are brilliant . Maybe she is open to chatting to her gp just to make sure she isn't in need of extra help ?
They can refer to specialist services , the CAMHS team in your area , if needed
Take care
