The most goals scored in the Premier League last season based on boot colour were scored by players wearing pink boots - 636 goals. Black boots were responsible for a paltry 36. I don't have the figures for the Championship (my other anorak is in the wash).
Could this be the difference between promotion and a relegation battle or the even the relative comfort of mid-table mediocrity?
Are strikers more likely to wear pink boots compared to their peers in midfield and in defence?Quote:
