The defence is not right at the moment. Getting exposed far too often. Needs shielding (sic).
Perhaps Bamba is the man to do that.
When was the last time we saw Bamba for more than 15 minutes? Was it the QPR away game? And before that?? At this point we don't know how capable he is of starting a game, but I do think Nelson needs a rest.
Keep Sol on the bench (until the 80th minute to protect a lead) and trust Benkovic (and Bagan).
If Benkovic doesn't get a start now - after weeks of building fitness and getting over a brief illness - when half the team look knackered, he will never get on the pitch for us. The snippets I saw of him for Brizzle, he looked useful.
